Join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Felinfach and play a key role in delivering our daily packing plan. As a Packing Operator (PO), you’ll keep our packing lines running smoothly, support the flow of materials, and maintain top-tier quality and hygiene standards. You’ll report directly to the Senior Packing Operator and be part of a team that values precision, teamwork, and a hands-on attitude.
What you’ll do:
- Run and monitor packing lines and material-handling operations using manual and automated systems to hit daily production targets.
- Complete quality and process control checks, logging results accurately and acting quickly on any issues.
- Keep daily stock records up to date and error-free.
- Uphold all food hygiene and GMP procedures — no compromises.
- Communicate plant performance, quality, hygiene, and production status to the Packing Lead.
- Minimise waste and take immediate action on any spills or deviations.
- Remove and dispose of empty packaging/IBCs and segregate correctly in the waste compound.
- Safely decant chemicals into automatic dosing systems.
- Apply pallet labels, scan into SAP, and maintain live inventory control.
- Move pallets from packing lines to the warehouse in an organised, efficient manner.
