I&C Technician Location: Pembrokeshire, onsite HOURS: Full time – Days – TDO fortnight (1st week Mon-Fri 41hrs, 2nd week Mon-Thurs 34hrs) Type: Permanent Salary: £53,265.00 with significant progression on completion of competencies Our client: Our client, located in the scenic coastal area of Pembrokeshire and operating in the Oil & Gas industry, is currently seeking an I&C Technician to join their Maintenance Department. Job Description/ The role: In the role as I&C Technician, you will provide expert technical support and perform advanced preventative maintenance, calibration, repairs and installations on various instrumentation systems. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Functional Safety and Safety critical systems, DCS and Programmable Logic Control equipment. Some experience of telecommunications systems would also be an advantage. Examples of Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all reactive & preventative maintenance across a variety of critical equipment. Ensures that all aspects of work are executed on time and in compliance with UK legislation and standards. Raises Permits for non-scheduled tasks and ensure correct PTW workflow is adhered to in all circumstances. Interprets technical drawings and updates with any changes following the installation of equipment. Installs, repairs and carries out site repairs as necessary, before recommissioning and testing equipment. Responsible for maintenance across the DCS system, including upgrading and security measures, ensuring that any changes are in line with Operations and Technical Services user requirements and specifications. Ensures safety rules and regulations are established and maintained, and that good housekeeping is a normal practice, both in the workshop and in the work site field.
