We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to be based within our Head Office but may require the occasional travel to the Children homes as required. Hours of work consist of 30 hours per week (4 days) with the potential to become a full time position.
Key Responsibilities
- To be confident to support and manage all levels of HR and recruitment with the ability to lead and influence.
- To understand the full 360 recruitment cycle and safer recruitment practices.
- To be up to date on HR employment law, with the ability to write and implement new policies.
- To have led sensitive HR matters including disciplinary, investigations, grievances, wellbeing and absence management.
- To support the Home Managers and work alongside the Senior Team.
- Confident to handle conflict and advise autonomously, providing sound guidance to the management team.
- Conduct supervisions with the Recruitment Advisor and Office Administrator.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years experience within the HR field and at least 2 years experience in HR Management.
- A minimum of a level 3 CIPD qualified or equivalent but advantageous to hold a level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards.
- Extensive knowledge and to be up to date in employment law.
