Location: This role is based in our Bristol Office with time spent working in the office and at home. Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

The Role: The People Team plays a critical role in enabling SunLife’s strategy, and as HR Consultant, you will act as a key partner and coach to our People Managers, helping them navigate people matters with confidence and consistency. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will lead and coordinate core cyclical HR activities and act as the go-to support for managers across the business. This broad generalist role offers exposure to all HR disciplines and the opportunity to influence key people outcomes.
You will play a central role in:
- Coaching and supporting People Managers on day to day people matters
- Owning and coordinating annual and quarterly cyclical activity, including performance, pay and bonus
- Working with the People Managers on underperformance, talent development and absence cases
- Supporting organisational design changes and ensuring smooth implementation
- Analysing people data and producing clear, insightful reporting
- Contributing to wider People projects, including owning specific workstreams where appropriate
