Your mission
We are seeking a diligent and astute Legal Counsel and Contract Manager to navigate the complex legal landscape of the United Kingdom. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our interests and ensuring smooth contractual operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial sales and purchasing contracts.
- Manage contracts effectively, ensuring compliance and overseeing related activities.
- Maintain and update existing contract templates, developing new ones as required.
- Act as a trusted legal advisor, supporting business teams and various departments.
- Collaborate with external legal experts and counsel when necessary.
- Deliver training to internal stakeholders on pertinent legal topics and regulations.
Your profile
- A legal degree and admitted lawyer qualification, with 3-5 years of experience in an international law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong understanding of UK contract law and European legislation.
- Excellent proficiency in English (C2), both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Previous experience in the energy or renewable energy industry is highly advantageous.
