Your mission is to support the day-to-day bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts, keeping our financial engine running smoothly. You will issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely and effective debt collection. Additionally, you will resolve invoice-related queries both internally and with external stakeholders, acting as a reliable point of contact.
Other responsibilities include:
- Uploading supplier invoices into our internal system for approval and preparing documentation for weekly supplier payment runs.
- Processing statement reconciliations across bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records.
- Pitching in on ad-hoc finance tasks as the team needs — no two days are exactly the same!
Your profile should include some experience in bookkeeping, or a genuine eagerness and willingness to learn. We value attitude as much as expertise. Solid IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, are essential. Familiarity with Xero is a nice bonus, though not essential. You should be comfortable working both collaboratively within a team and independently when needed, with English at C1 level or above; any additional European language is a welcome plus.
Why us? Our UK Finance team sits at the heart of Sungrow’s European operations, supporting one of the fastest-growing clean energy companies in the world. You won’t be fetching coffees — you’ll be contributing to real financial processes that keep the business moving. We offer a supportive, international environment where interns are treated as genuine team members, with the opportunity to learn from experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to end-to-end financial operations.
If you’re passionate about sustainability and want to launch your finance career in a company that’s shaping the future of energy, this is the place to be.
