Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0-5. You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years qualification. Your apprenticeship will last for 14 months. This apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment & punctuality for you to be successful.
Our nursery is situated in a well-liked area of South Woodford. Catering to the needs of families in the area, we offer exceptional childcare and education for babies and young children, spanning from three months to five years old. Our doors are open year-round, Monday to Friday, providing a reliable and consistent service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of Christmas week, the summer break, and bank holidays. At our South Woodford nursery, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for the growth and development of every child in our care.
What You'll Do:
- Creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children
- Teaching within the EYFS requirements
- Partaking in a range of indoor and outdoor activities
- Supporting the children with a range of self-care needs such as feeding and personal hygiene
- Communicating with other team members and parents
- Also, being able to liaise with external customers, parents, and provide a high level of service for the childcare setting
- Supporting the development of the childcare provision
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures the child learns whilst having fun
- Assisting in meeting Ofsted requirements
- Being a team player
- Providing challenging and stimulating activities for children appropriately

Training Outcome:
Developing into a Level 3 educator, with the potential of a full-time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for Room Leader positions, possible management training, springboard into primary education, paediatric nursing, and continuous development in the current nursery setting.
