We are seeking a proactive individual to join our small successful team in Corby. The role of Sales and Production Admin is essential in maintaining our high level of customer service and ensuring our customers’ needs are met.
Key responsibilities:
·Process sales orders and handle customer enquiries
·Communicate with customers via email and phone
·Organise transportation with our haulage partners
·Maintain our sales order database and provide information to production to enable planning
·Gain understanding of our products and our customers’ needs
·Prepare and submit quotations in response to enquiries
·Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Required Skills and Experience
·Education: GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
·Experience: 1-3 years experience in B2B sales
·Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
·Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and negotiation skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
Other Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desired Skills and Experience: A background in construction products is preferred either in manufacturing or supply (merchants)
