Sunderland BID is looking for a dynamic and relationship-focused Business Liaison Officer to champion engagement with our city’s business community and help deliver initiatives that make Sunderland – from the city centre to the seafront – a thriving place to work, visit, and invest.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Services, you’ll be the first point of contact for local businesses, signposting them to relevant support, gathering feedback, and ensuring they’re actively involved in BID activities. You’ll manage and grow partnerships including Affiliate Scheme and the Sunderland Gift Card, develop sponsorship opportunities, and work with local authorities, corporate sponsors, and external partners to secure funding for our projects and events.
What to expect?
- 35 hours per week (some evenings and weekend work required)
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
- City centre and seafront based, 5 days a week
- Pension contribution and access to an employee assistance programme
- £30,000 salary per annum
- Driving license required
