The post holder will play a key role in bringing people together through community engagement and activities across our two sites in Thompson Park. You will work closely with community partners, local residents, community groups, the voluntary sector and health and social care commissioners to ensure the project delivers meaningful outcomes and positive experiences for all beneficiaries.

Sunderland Home Grown (SHG) is a social enterprise based in Thompson Park, Sunderland. We use gardening and growing activities to support people’s wellbeing. We offer training and work opportunities for local people, including young people with learning disabilities, people with long-term mental health challenges, and the wider community.
