We are looking for caring and reliable people to provide a support service to our service users in an Extra Care scheme at Cherry Tree Gardens, Orchard Place, Houghton le Spring DH5 8GY. The Role:
- Uphold the rights and dignity of all clients and respect their privacy and confidentiality
- Encourage independence and support the wishes of the service users
- Look after the welfare and personal care of service users assigned to you
- Assist with mobility, eating, washing/bathing and dressing of service users in a sensitive manner and prepare meals and drinks
- Supervise the prompting/administration of prescribed medication and perform any other duties to ensure the comfort of the service users
- Accurately complete all records as requested by line management
- Attend any training courses that are required
