Overview
Come and join our Waste and Recycling Team. Working Tuesdays and Fridays you will be a Team Leader based at Houghton Depot.
Responsibilities
- Your main focus will be to provide daily operational direction to Waste and Recycling crews to ensure that service delivery meets the needs of the operational area you are working in.
- You will also mentor to team members to ensure work is completed within given frameworks, standards and timescales to enable safe and efficient working.
- You will also assist in resolving local and complex incidents or problems encountered by the team, escalating issues to the appropriate person when required and ensuring prompt corrective action is taken to resolve these issues.
- You will also assist with training and development of team members and engage with customers, both internal and external, to resolve immediate service issues.
