Overview
Come and join our Waste and Recycling Team. You will be a Team Leader based at Houghton Depot, working Tuesdays – Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational direction to Waste and Recycling crews to ensure service delivery meets the needs of the operational area.
- Mentor team members to ensure work is completed within given frameworks, standards and timescales to enable safe and efficient working.
- Assist in resolving local and complex incidents or problems encountered by the team, escalating issues to the appropriate person when required and ensuring prompt corrective action is taken to resolve these issues.
- Assist with training and development of team members and engage with customers, both internal and external, to resolve immediate service issues.
