An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Marine department at the Port of Sunderland to join the Water Patrol team. We are looking for someone who has experience of working or operating in a coastal marine environment.

Qualifications:

  • Marine SRC/VHF radio
  • First Aid
  • Sea Survival
  • RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR)
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2
  • RYA Safety Boat (see Personal Specification for detailed requirements)

Applicants able to demonstrate ability to successfully obtain the above qualification may be considered. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Duties of the post are shared between a team of Water Patrol Officers usually on a seasonal basis.
