Learning Support Assistant (fixed term contract linked to EHCP funding) at St Paul’s Church of England Primary School, Sunderland. 10 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks). Working pattern: Monday–Friday, 13:00–15:00. Grade 2 (SCP 5–6), £25,583–£25,989 pro rata.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan).
- Plan, deliver and monitor work to meet the pupil’s learning and development needs, adapting materials as required.
- Work alongside the class teacher to maintain high standards of support in KS1/KS2 settings.
Qualifications
- Classroom experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential (KS1 and KS2 experience).
- Flexible and dedicated professional with the ability to adapt to individual pupil needs.
