Sunderland City Council are seeking to recruit a Business Manager to support colleagues in Adult Social Care and our Sunderland Care and Support Service (SCAS).

Key Responsibilities

  • ICT Platform Development and system re-design
  • System Reporting and Process Mapping
  • Development and maintenance of excellent practice
  • Development, implementation of associated policies and processes
  • Leading on system upgrades and ensuring processes meet statutory requirements

The successful applicant will have a wide range of transferable experience within an appropriate background as well as excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced multi‑disciplinary area of work. Excellent organisational, prioritisation and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide‑ranging workload with competing priorities. Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent experience.
