Teaching and Learning Support Assistant – Fixed Term Position Grade 3 – SCP 7-11 (£26,403 – £28,142) pro‑rata term time only (39 weeks pro‑rata, 37 hours per week worked). Starting on 1 September 2026. The Head Teacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed, flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our inclusive and friendly school. You will work as part of a dedicated team alongside teachers to support the teaching, learning and individual needs of pupils. This post is not open to job share.
Responsibilities
- Support the Class Teacher in delivering teaching and learning opportunities within the whole class setting and in small groups.
- Assist in meeting the diverse needs of pupils.
- Be involved in the full life of the school.
- Encourage and promote inclusive education, recognising the uniqueness of every child.
- Display good communication and interpersonal skills.
