We have a vacancy for a Catering Assistant working for the school meals service and based at North East Futures UTC in Newcastle. This is a technical college for students aged 14 – 19 years.

Duties will include:

  • Serving of meals
  • Taking payments
  • Washing up
  • Cleaning of the kitchen
  • All general catering duties

Previous catering experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Please note that this is a fixed term contract until 25th March 2027 covering for Maternity Leave.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
