Position
Early Years Practitioner Grade 3 – 37 hours per week (39 weeks term time) or Full time 50 weeks per year. Salary from £26,403 – £28,142 pro rota. Position to start in January 2026.
About the Role
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible early years practitioner to be part of the nursery school team. The post holder will work as part of a team at Hetton Lyons Nursery School. The successful applicant will provide high quality care and learning experiences for children aged birth to five, working in partnership with parents and carers. They will support all children including those with additional and special educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality care and learning experiences for children aged birth to five.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Support all children, including those with additional and special educational needs.
- Report directly to the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Other Requirements
