Group Engineer – Highways Operations Team Sunderland City Council are looking to appoint a Group Engineer in the Highways Operations Team. The role is permanent and will be based at the office and site.

Overview

The Group Engineer will deliver strategic development, front‑line services and improved coordination of mainstream services that respond to local needs. The position involves providing management support to Managers, supervising an allocated technical team, and offering technical and contractual expertise in Highways Operations.
