Come and join our Technical Services Team!
You will be one of two Environmental Services Technical Officers with your main focus being to lead on the day-to-day management of all commercial waste streams including delivery of waste provision at events and privately contracted work.
You will be required to develop, maintain information systems to capture and analyse data to support robust decision to drive operational growth and increasing income generation.
You will work in a busy environment dealing with a number of enquiries from a range of sources and should be able to multitask and handle changing priorities. Experience of working with a case management system would be an advantage.
You should also be fully familiar with data protection and the use of MS Office/Office 365 applications.
Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you\’ll be communicating with service users, members of the public, and external organisations via a range of communication methods.
The Environmental Services Technical team delivers an essential 24/7 365 day a year service and you will be required to work flexibly to meet demand, which may include some weekend and evening work.
