Sunderland Care and Support is a trusted provider of high-quality customer focused social and health care services. We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader to work in our Supported Living hub. The successful candidate must be able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, and help us ensure our company values are at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:
- Act as practice lead, managing and supervising a team to perform their roles safely.
- Ensure service delivery is in accordance with standards, legislation & the TLAP.
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans that provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care.
- Instill a culture of continuous workforce development through induction, probation, supervision and appraisal.
- Work in partnership with other professionals to ensure customers receive support designed to meet their needs.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting customers within the social care sector.
- Hold (or could achieve) Level 3 QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent.
