Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Quality and Improvement Department, which plays a key role in assuring safe, effective and high-quality care across the organisation.
The Quality and Improvement Facilitator will support the delivery of quality assurance and improvement activity across Sunderland Care and Support. The post holder will carry out audits, reviews and quality visits, identify areas for improvement, and provide advice, guidance and practical support to services and providers to ensure compliance with legislation, safeguarding requirements and CQC standards.
You will work closely with managers and senior leaders to provide assurance on service quality, contribute to improvement activity, and ensure that the customer voice is central to all work. The role also involves producing clear, evidence-based reports, supporting the implementation of improvement actions, and monitoring progress to ensure meaningful outcomes.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in adult social care, excellent analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to challenge and influence practice in a constructive way. You will have a good understanding of safeguarding, relevant legislation and CQC expectations, alongside the ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively.
