Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a sound knowledge of sports science, injury prevention and player welfare. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and be flexible in their approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends. Experience within a Premier League or professional academy setting, involvement in talent identification and development, and additional coaching qualifications or specialist expertise would be advantageous.
