The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated, hands‑on Facilities & Maintenance Operative to join the Facilities team at our training academy. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and previous facilities or maintenance experience who is happy to get stuck in and support the wider organisation.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the academy
- Plan and execute reactive maintenance across the site
- Manage contractors and oversee compliance activities
- Perform cleaning duties and general operational support
- Oversee logistics for match days and other events
- Maintain high standards across the site
Qualifications and Desirable Skills
- Positive and hardworking attitude, reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with hands‑on, physical work
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organized, proactive and flexible mindset
- Experience working within a commercial, education, leisure, or sporting setting
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and experience conducting compliance checks
- Pool Plant Operator certification or willingness to obtain it
- First Aid certification
- IOSH Working Safely training
