We’re looking for a motivated small animal vet to join our Hartpury branch on a part-time basis, working Tuesdays and Fridays. You will be sole charge on these days, supported by a dedicated nurse and reception team, with additional backing from our other Sundean branches. In this role, you will enjoy a perfect balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and occasional urgent cases, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workday.

The Hartpury is a purpose‑built branch currently in a period of development following recent staff changes. This is an exciting opportunity for a vet who enjoys autonomy, teamwork, and contributing to the growth and future of a branch practice. We’re looking for someone to work Tuesdays & Fridays (09:00 - 19:00), covering 19 hours per week.

About us: One of our biggest strengths is the team that we have. We have clinicians interested in imaging and small animal medicine, and other areas! This collaborative environment allows for continuous growth and learning, providing you with the opportunity to expand your skill set. We have regular clinical club meetings which take place during the working day and are a chance for our vets to collaborate on cases and share knowledge and experience. We have all the kit and equipment that you’d expect to find in a modern practice with an in‑house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, K‑laser and much more!

A lovely area to live and work: The practice has all the perks of both rural and city living. It is less than half an hour to conveniences in Gloucester and Cheltenham, but you also get to enjoy being surrounded by countryside. The area is very popular for equestrian activities, countryside walks and rural activities like shooting. The local schools are among the highest quality, and it is a very popular area for new housing and local infrastructure.
