Based in London, the Pureplayer National/Key Account Manager will manage and grow the brand’s pureplay and retailer. com partnerships.

This role combines strategic account management with hands-on digital execution, using retailer media, CRM, loyalty, sponsored products, online merchandising, bundles, promotions, and app opportunities to increase traffic, conversion, sales, and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Retail Partner Relationships
  • Manage relationships with pureplay retailers and the e-commerce teams of omnichannel retail partners.
  • Build strong relationships across Buying, Merchandising, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Retail Media, CRM, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, distribution, online visibility, retailer media, promotional support, sampling, and digital exclusives.
  • Lead new product presentations, account reviews, and strategic retailer meetings.
  • Secure strong digital support for launches, promotions, and key brand moments.
  • Driving Performance
  • Develop annual account plans, P&Ls, and seasonal strategies to deliver sales, profit, distribution, and brand-ranking objectives.
  • Develop and research strategies utilizing CRM, loyalty, GWPs, online bundles, sampling, digital exclusives, app placements, and other digital levers to increase sales.
  • Plan and optimize sponsored product, paid search, display, and retailer-media activity, including Criteo campaigns, to improve visibility, traffic, conversion, and return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities across retailer websites and apps, including homepage exposure, category placement, search visibility, email, push notifications, live shopping, and editorial content.
  • Develop online-exclusive bundles, kits, routines, and promotional offers that increase conversion, average order value, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct competitive analyses covering pricing, promotions, digital visibility, sponsored search, assortment, launches, ratings and reviews, and share of digital shelf.
  • Maintain Joint Business Plans and evaluate progress against agreed sales, marketing, and profitability objectives.
  • Digital Merchandising and Optimization
  • Ensure product pages are accurate, compelling, and optimized across copy, imagery, video, claims, ingredients, usage, and brand content.
  • Monitor on-site search rankings, category placement, product availability, ratings and reviews, conversion, traffic, and digital share of shelf.
  • Conduct regular retailer. com and app audits to identify content gaps, broken links, out-of-stocks, incorrect pricing, missing products, and lost visibility.
  • Improve product discoverability through retailer SEO, search-term optimization, product taxonomy, filters, and sponsored placements.
  • Work with retailer teams to test and optimize content, promotions, landing pages, bundles, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure new products launch online accurately, on time, and with the agreed visibility and marketing support.
  • Inventory Management and Forecasting
  • Analyze weekly sales by retailer, channel, and SKU, including units, sales value, conversion, performance against plan and last year, and promotional impact.
  • Manage forecasts for launches, core products, promotions, bundles, and retailer-media activity, identifying revenue risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor out-of-stocks, low-stock positions, weeks of supply, excess inventory, promotional requirements, and launch readiness.
  • Track incoming purchase orders from receipt through delivery, addressing delays, outstanding requirements, and next actions.
  • Identify incremental purchase-order opportunities based on sell-through, traffic, conversion, marketing support, and forecasted demand.
  • Review online assortment and SKU productivity, recommending additions, discontinuations, exclusives, or bundles where appropriate.
  • Reporting and Account Management
  • Provide a concise weekly recap covering sales, traffic, conversion, retailer-media performance, inventory, incoming POs, forecasts, digital opportunities, and decisions required.
  • Evaluate campaign performance across sponsored products, paid search, display, CRM, loyalty, app, and promotional activity.
  • Develop recommendations for underperforming retailers, campaigns, and SKUs, including the proposed action, expected impact, timing, and support needed.
  • Lead regular retailer business reviews covering sales, digital performance, inventory, launches, marketing, and outstanding issues.
  • Document decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines, maintaining a clear account action tracker.
  • Cross-Functional Working
  • Work with Brand Marketing, Creative, Operations, Finance, PR, Social, and Education teams to develop and execute annual retailer plans.
  • Coordinate assets and content for product launches, retailer media, CRM, apps, landing pages, bundles, promotions, and online events.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure retailer content is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.
  • Align launches, promotional activity, pricing, and digital campaigns with local and global SRMS teams.
  • Communicate account risks, opportunities, dependencies, and required decisions with clear recommendations.
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience, preferably within beauty, skincare, or consumer goods.
  • Two to four years of experience managing pureplay, retailer. com, e-commerce, or digital retail accounts.
  • Experience with retailer media platforms, sponsored products, paid search, and Criteo is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, including traffic, conversion, average order value, return on advertising spend, customer acquisition, and digital share of shelf.
  • Experience managing account P&Ls, forecasts, inventory, purchase orders, and digital marketing investments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point; experience with retailer portals and e-commerce analytics platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate sales and digital performance data into clear commercial actions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualification And Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or comparable experience, preferably in the beauty industry; skincare experience a plus.
  • Experience at a National Accounts Manager level
  • IT skills - advanced level skill set in Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to think and perform creatively.
  • Proven ability to follow up and maintain timelines.
