Room Attendant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within our establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our guests, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock room amenities and supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure that all public areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Assist with floor care tasks, such as carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to meet the needs of guests efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred.
• Experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required.
