We’re looking for motoring enthusiasts to join Shannons in part-time roles with flexible shift options (see below).

What you’ll do
As a Motor Enthusiast Underwriter, you’ll use your motoring knowledge to support customers who care deeply about their vehicles — just like you. From providing tailored advice to protecting their pride and joy, your expertise will make all the difference.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound calls from fellow enthusiasts and delivering expert advice with genuine enthusiasm
- Helping customers find tailored insurance cover or update their existing policy whilst making the complex, simple
- Share your passion for all things motoring in every conversation and connect authentically with customers about their vehicles
- Navigating multiple digital systems efficiently to provide accurate and timely support
- Use a balanced scorecard framework to meet achievable performance targets and quality standards
- Completing 7 weeks full-time comprehensive onsite training to set you up for success

Shift Options
We’re currently recruiting for part-time positions in Newcastlewith the following shift options:
- Option 1: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 30 hours per week – start window 8am-10am
- Option 2: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri – 30 hours per week – start window 8am-10am
- Option 3: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues – 30 hours per week – start window 9am-10am on weekends and 8am-10am on weekdays
- Option 4: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat – 25 hours per week – start window 9am-11am on weekends and 8am-11am on weekdays
*Enjoy 100% weekend loading — after 12pm Saturday and all-day Sunday
‘Start window’ means your rostered start time may vary within the listed hours. You must be able to fully commit to the shift option selected.
