Our work culture includes a dynamic mix of professionals, with a diversity of skills and expertise.**Minimum Requirements:*** Two years’ of experience in a scheduling role within appropriate commodity industries (crude, fuel oil, refined products preferred)* Post-secondary degree in business, accounting, economics or equivalent preferred* Experience with trade capture, scheduling, finance, and risk management systems* Specialized knowledge and skills in a variety of scheduling processes and activities* Strong understanding of commodity trade positioning* Superior analytical, quantitative skills and accounting acumen* In-depth understanding of waterborne and pipeline operational requirements**Responsibilities:*** Responsible for arranging all transportation requirements for the execution of trading activity* Develop comprehensive delivery schedule and communicate to key stakeholders on a daily basis* Assist in reviewing and improving processes for the department to optimize the company portfolio* Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications* Works autonomously within established procedures while adding value with continuous improvement* Utilizing experience level to promote cross training and develop colleagues through knowledge sharing* Apply critical thinking for new and innovative solutions to complex operational problem solving* Ability to handle unexpected operational issues and provide guidance during off-peak hours**Location and other Key Details:*** You will work out of our London Trading Office, located at 10 Brook Street W1* Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs* Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work* *Applicants must be legally eligible to work and reside in London, UK at the time of application*Suncor\’s operations include oil sands development, production and upgrading; offshore oil and gas; petroleum refining in Canada and the U.S.; and the company\’s Petro-Canada retail and wholesale distribution networks (including Canada\’s Electric Highway, a coast-to-coast network of fast-charging electric vehicle stations).With a strong strategy for growth and our long-standing approach to sustainability, operational excellence, capital discipline and technology and innovation, Suncor offers a solid foundation for you to continue building your career.
