An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.
Working on a major civil engineering project, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while supporting the successful delivery of complex geotechnical work packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities across site.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, site records and as-built information.
- Support look-ahead planning, programme management and productivity reporting.
- Assist with NEC contract administration, Early Warnings and change management.
- Promote the highest standards of health, safety and quality across site.
About You:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, infrastructure or ground engineering.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working on major infrastructure, piling, geotechnical or heavy civils projects.
- Good understanding of NEC contracts and construction processes.
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
- CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, CEMAR or similar project management software would be advantageous.
