You will be the primary clinical nursing presence on every day of surgery, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and ODPs to deliver the highest standard of patient care in a CQC-regulated environment.

  • Performing scrub, circulating, and anaesthetic nurse roles across a range of elective procedures
  • Conducting pre-operative patient assessments and medical history reviews
  • Coordinating and completing surgical pathway documentation across the full day of surgery
  • Overseeing recovery room care and supporting safe patient discharge
  • Handling and labelling histopathology and blood samples
  • Ensuring ongoing CQC compliance, audit participation, and governance standards

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration:

  • Proven scrub, circulating, and recovery experience
  • Experience with surgical pathway documentation and pre-operative assessment
  • Understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Experience in private / independent healthcare
  • Familiarity with aesthetic or reconstructive surgical procedures
  • Experience across multiple surgical specialties

You are comfortable working autonomously, managing a complex surgical day, and acting as the clinical anchor for the whole team. If you are an experienced Theatre Nurse looking for a senior role with genuine clinical breadth and responsibility, we would love to hear from you.
