About the Role
Our client is a boutique, doctor-led aesthetic and dermatology clinic on Harley Street seeking an experienced Hair Transplant Technician to join their close-knit clinical team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a high-calibre consultant environment where quality of outcome, and not volume, is the defining standard.
You will work directly alongside a lead physician, supporting a growing hair restoration service with a specific focus on female patients and the specialist technique of long hair (unshaved) FUE transplants. You will also assist with a range of hair injection treatments, playing a key role in delivering a comprehensive, medically managed hair restoration service. This is an exclusively full-time position. This client will not offer or support split working arrangements with other clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead physician across all stages of hair transplant procedures, including site preparation, graft extraction, dissection, counting, and placement using implanters
- Perform meticulous graft handling and follicle preparation to the highest standards of accuracy
- Adapt technique to support long hair (unshaved) FUE procedures for female patients
- Assist with hair injection treatments including PRP and other injectable hair therapies as trained
- Prepare and sterilise the theatre environment before, during, and after each procedure
- Provide attentive patient care from admission through to discharge, including pre- and post-operative education
- Maintain accurate graft counts and procedural documentation
- Contribute to the continued development of clinical protocols as the service grows
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in FUE and/or FUT hair transplant procedures
- Proven proficiency in graft extraction, cleaning, and placement
- Experience working in a quality-focused clinical environment (low-volume, high-precision)
- A meticulous, patient-centred approach — you take pride in outcomes, not throughput
- Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, reassuring manner with patients
- Full UK working rights
Desirable:
- Diploma as a Hair Transplant Theatre Assistant and/or Phlebotomy Certificate of Competence
- NMC-registered nurse with aesthetic experience
- Experience or interest in hair injection treatments (PRP, mesotherapy, etc.)
- Experience with female hair loss patients
What We Offer
- Direct one-on-one mentorship from a leading consultant physician
- Training in specialist long hair (unshaved) FUE techniques for female patients
- Exposure to medically managed hair restoration — a growing and differentiated niche
- A supportive, small-team environment where your contribution is genuinely valued
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Opportunity to grow with the service from its foundation
