Taylor Woodrow is currently delivering major infrastructure works as part of the Network Rail CP7 framework and is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join the team in Bristol. This is a key role supporting the Quality Manager in ensuring that all works meet client, regulatory, and internal quality standards, while promoting a strong Defect Free culture across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project quality systems in line with company and Network Rail requirements
- Communicate quality standards and updates to project teams
- Conduct audits of internal processes, design partners, and supply chain
- Review and assess subcontractor quality documentation
- Prepare and implement project-specific quality procedures
- Support the development and compliance of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Manage NCRs and snagging systems, ensuring timely close-out
- Support project handover and carry out weekly quality progress checks
- Deliver training and mentoring to promote quality best practice
- Contribute to sustainability and carbon reduction objectives
Person Specification
- Strong background in quality management within rail or construction projects
- Auditor training with experience conducting quality audits
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Knowledge of BIM Level 2 within infrastructure projects (desirable)
