About the Clinic
Our client is a well-established group of podiatrists who were established over 10 years ago and have expanded to operate out of multiple locations in the UK. They come from an NHS background with extensive experience in wound care, biomechanics, nail surgery, and the more common skin and nail disorders of the foot. They offer a comprehensive range of services including nail surgery, medical pedicures, orthotics, routine podiatry, home visits, and advanced treatments using K-Laser technology. They also have on-site orthotic manufacturing facilities, giving them complete control over the quality and customisation of their products.
The Role
Our client is seeking a confident, personable podiatrist to join their team across their Marlborough and Swindon clinics in Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, permanent position with a supportive team and plenty of clinical variety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality podiatric care to a diverse patient base
- Conduct routine podiatry treatments including nail care, corn and callus removal
- Perform nail surgery procedures
- Conduct biomechanical assessments and provide orthotic solutions
- Manufacture custom orthotics on-site (full training provided)
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients
- Work collaboratively with the team across both clinic sites
What We Offer
- Competitive salary up to £40,000
- Flexible working arrangements - we're open to discussing working hours that suit you (as long as they are consistent week-to-week)
- Comprehensive training in orthotic manufacturing, verruca treatment, and our clinical protocols
- On-site equipment including orthotic manufacturing facilities and K-Laser technology
- Supportive team environment with experienced colleagues
- Clinical variety with a diverse patient base
- Professional development opportunities with links to podiatric surgeons
- Modern, well-equipped clinics with excellent facilities
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Qualification in Podiatry/Chiropody
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, conversational approach with patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, reliable attitude with strong work ethic
How to tell if this is the right position for you:
- You are someone who doesn't take yourself too seriously and can have a bit of a laugh
- Is confident in conversations and can put patients at ease
- Enjoys variety in your work and is eager to learn new skills
- Takes pride in delivering excellent patient care
- Is reliable, professional, and committed to your role
- Likes being part of a supportive team
Our client values personality and attitude as much as clinical skills - they can teach techniques, but they need someone who fits well with their team and their patients.
