Our client is a leading specialist refractive surgery clinic with over 30 years of experience in the field. We are seeking an experienced Refractive Optometrist to join their expert team across their prestigious London locations including Knightsbridge, White City, and Harley Street.
As a Refractive Optometrist, you will work alongside some of the most experienced surgeons in the industry, providing comprehensive care to patients seeking freedom from glasses, contact lenses, and reading glasses.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative consultations for suitability assessment for laser surgery, cataract procedures, RLEs, and ICL
- Perform post-operative consultations and patient follow-up care
- Carry out diagnostic scanning and provide training to other team members
- Analyse clinical data and diagnostics beyond standard consultations
- Prepare detailed clinical reports
- Handle patient queries with professionalism and care
- Manage complex patient cases
- Co-manage patients alongside surgeons, optometrists, and nursing staff
- Engage in continuous professional development in refractive eye surgery and core ophthalmic skills
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Optometrist degree with valid GOC registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in refractive surgery
- Experience conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing vision problems
- Knowledge of pre- and post-operative care for refractive surgeries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Proficiency with clinical databases, MS Word, Excel, email, and internet
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours & Location
- 40 hours per week
- Operating hours: 08:00 - 20:00, Monday to Sunday (flexible scheduling)
