Are you currently working within Transport, Logistics or Customs and looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience?

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland's leading transport and logistics businesses, where you'll receive comprehensive training across multiple departments including Transport Planning, Customs, Customer Service and Shipping.

Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you'll become part of a busy operational team responsible for keeping freight moving across the UK and Ireland, supporting customers and ensuring transport operations run smoothly throughout the night.

This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career within the transport industry.

The Role

  • Coordinate transport operations within a busy overnight logistics environment
  • Assist with customs declarations and GMR documentation
  • Support customers with shipment updates and operational queries
  • Liaise with drivers and transport planners to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor vehicle movements and respond to operational issues
  • Work across multiple operational disciplines including Customs, Traffic and Customer Service
  • Receive structured training and ongoing career development
  • 4 on / 4 off nightshift pattern

About You

  • Previous experience within Transport, Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Customs
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
  • Previous customs experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right individual
