The Role
- Coordinating day-to-day procurement activity across direct and indirect spend
- Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records
- Negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value, quality and delivery terms
- Monitoring stock levels and forecasting procurement requirements
- Managing supplier performance and resolving delivery or quality issues
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, drivers and transport providers
- Supporting transport operations and stepping into a supervisory role when required
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, budget controls and Health & Safety standards
The Person
- Proven background in procurement, buying or supply chain coordination
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong work ethic and integrity
