Air, Road and Sea Freight .
This isn't a role where you'll be restricted to processing one type of shipment.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of customers, manage a variety of freight movements and use your experience to resolve problems and keep shipments moving.
The Role
- Manage freight movements across Air, Road and Sea
- Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through to delivery
- Take ownership of customer requirements and operational queries
- Liaise with customers, carriers, hauliers, agents and overseas partners
- Keep customers updated throughout the shipment process
- Identify and resolve delays or issues throughout the movement of goods
- Work closely with the wider commercial and operational team
The Person
- Will have previous Freight Forwarding experience
- omfortable managing import and/or export shipments
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end freight forwarding process
- Confident dealing directly with customers and taking ownership of accounts
- Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and solve operational problems
- Enjoy working within a small, collaborative team environment
