We're partnering with a well-established logistics business based in Nutts Corner to support them in the recruitment of an additional Transport Planner. The operation is fast-moving, customer-focused and highly service-driven, supplying goods across NI and beyond. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Transport Planner to support the day-to-day running of the fleet and ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements.
As Transport Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the transport department. You will be responsible for:
- Planning daily multi-drop routes and coordinating deliveries
- Ensuring drivers are fully briefed and supported
- Monitoring real-time fleet performance and resolving operational issues
- Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation, tachographs and company policies
- Supporting KPI reporting and continuous improvement activities
- Working closely with operations, scheduling and customer service teams
What You'll Need
- Experience in a transport planning or transport office role
- Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- IT-literate with experience using TMS systems (desirable)
