About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in Film & TV who want to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands-on, highly operational, service-focused environment.

The role involves delivering best practice and company-defined electrical and electronic engineering standards.

Supporting the Maintenance team, you will ensure safety and compliance while repairing electrical and electronic equipment according to manufacturers\’ specifications and current regulations.

You will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and PAT testing film and TV lighting equipment, including:

  • High frequency electronic ballasts
  • LED, tungsten, and HMI lighting fixtures up to 24kW
  • Power supplies
  • Dimmers
  • Lighting controllers
  • Mains distribution equipment up to 400A
  • Cables

The role may require site visits or training courses, which could involve overnight stays.

You will ensure compliance with specifications, documentation, support, and testing activities, and carry out work to the highest standard.

  • BTEC Diploma / Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • City & Guilds certification in Electronic Servicing
  • Experience in electronic fault finding to component level
  • Experience using test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
