Due to the continued expansion of the business and increasing demands, we’re looking for a Business Analyst who will thrive in a busy operational environment to join our IT team.
In the role of a Business Analyst you will be required to work with Developers, QA, Data Analysts and Trainers collectively to develop and deliver the needs of the Business with a common understanding.
Key Duties of the role will include:
- Working with the Business to define and document Business Requirements
- Work with Stakeholders to define Project Scope and Develop Business Cases to support prioritisation of work
- Carry out Gap Analysis between new Business Requirements and Existing Capabilities
- Create supporting Documentation using appropriate Business Analysis Techniques
- Acting as a product owner in both Agile and Waterfall settings
- Managing the product backlog
- Collaborating with the Performance Standards team to ensure newly proposed applications meet regulatory and procedural requirements
- Produce and distribute a reporting suite on the effectiveness of the quality assurance function
- Provide light touch Project Management where required
- As-Is and To-Be Business and System Process Maps using standard notations such as BPMN or UML
- Requirement Elicitation, Functional and Non-Functional
- Epics, Features and User Stories
- Development of Acceptance Criteria
- Creation of Data Dictionary
This role offers hybrid working arrangements - with a mix of remote and office (Birchwood Park, Warrington). Hours of work are 37.5 hours Monday – Friday.
