About The Role

We now have a fantastic Technical Support and Training opportunity within the Survey division. Your principle accountabilities will be:-

  • To carry out training courses either on site at a customer’s location or at one of our Countrywide Survey Training centres
  • Plan and prepare the training based on the customer’s needs and requirements
  • Be prepared to work with multiple manufactures including Leica, Trimble and Topcon
  • Provide Technical Support on the phone as well as solving problems on site, using attention to detail and make sure the customer is happy
  • Attend Industry exhibitions and Demo Days
  • Be a member of a dynamic team and provide input at team meetings
  • Be willing to travel and stay away from home

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Experience in either Engineering or Surveying fields.
  • Experience with Total Stations, GNSS and Levelling & Utility Surveying
  • Experience in one of the following manufactures equipment: Leica Trimble or Topcon
  • Experience in Laser Scanning (Optional).
  • Experience with Machine Control (Optional)
  • Experience with Cats & Genny’s & GPR (Optional)
  • Effective planning and organising skills with strong attention to detail and close adherence to Company standards and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
