We have an exciting new role for a Regional Account Manager who will be responsible for maximising profitable revenue across all income streams by winning new Regional Account business and retaining and developing existing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver a high level of customer service in partnership with Service Centres and Business Sales Teams.
  • Develop working relationships with key employees and decision makers of the client in order to leverage the relationship and deliver objectives against a specific account management plan.
  • Ensure networks of relationships are established with key Sunbelt Rentals colleagues who can support the client relationship and provide a platform for growth.
  • Manage a balanced approach to managing revenue growth and price increases in order to deliver against defined business objectives.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service in partnership with the core Sunbelt Rentals business and all specialist Divisions.
  • To lead the Tender or Retender with support from the Commercial Team and the wider Sunbelt Rentals business where required to maximise the opportunity for success for all Sunbelt Rentals business units.

  • Experience of developing effective customer relationships, generating real business growth and winning and developing new business.
  • Experience of plant hire or construction industry.
  • Track record in developing and implementing SLAs and delivering optimum customer service in line with SLAs.
  • Track record in delivering clear and measurable improvements in across account portfolio.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, superior networking skills.
  • Strategic approach with the ability to balance day to day activities with a focus on delivering long term objectives.
  • Innovative approach with the ability to move quickly in order to exploit business opportunities.
  • High level of personal drive and motivation for achieving stretching targets.
