We are currently recruiting for a Cable Assembly Technician, this would be a fantastic opportunity for individuals with an interest in Film & TV, who would like to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands‑on, highly operational, service‑focused business.
Working in the maintenance department, the successful candidate will be making and repairing a variety of cable assemblies. Supporting the Maintenance team, you will ensure safety and compliance in carrying out repairs to all cable equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and to current regulations.
Responsibilities:
- 16A, 32A, 63A, 125A Industrial extension leads
- 13A Cable assemblies
- 160A Heavyweight extension leads
- Various control and network cables
- Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
- Palletising and scanning cables out for despatch to third party repair partners
- Assisting other members of the team with manual handling or maintenance tasks
- Keeping their work area clean and tidy
