In this role you’ll be joining our Traffic Management specialist team. We’re the UK’s largest portable traffic signals hire company and a leading supplier of temporary traffic management solutions. Our equipment for hire includes temporary traffic lights, variable message signs, cones, lights and barriers.
In the role of Traffic Surveyor you'll visit sites and help set up traffic management schemes and deal with ongoing traffic issues. You will also plan for any future Traffic Management Projects. The job duties will involve:
- Design traffic management solutions.
- Conduct site surveys to assess road layout, traffic flow, risks, and constraints.
- Produce or amend traffic management drawings using CAD software where required.
- Supervise and support TMOs during installation of complex schemes.
- Conduct site quality audits to ensure compliance.
- Ensuring customers are coached on the correct use of the equipment and are able to operate the equipment safely.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and current.
- Administration duties and helping the depot hire controller.
The role requires regular site attendance and outdoor work in varying conditions.
