HGV Driver Class 2 in Leicester

About the Role

We are looking for a talented HGV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations and communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of driving licence category C – with no more than 6 points
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable)
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable)
• FORS compliant (desirable)
