IT Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you\’ll provide technical support across a range of internal systems, working to agreed quality standards and SLAs.

The role is based on a Hybrid pattern with a minimum of one day per week in the office.

Core Duties

• Install, configure, and support servers and management platforms, including VMware and Hyper‑V
• Document technical specifications and reports
• Support infrastructure projects through capacity planning and design
• Share knowledge across teams and support project activities
• Provide BAU and out‑of‑hours support to the business

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a varied server/network estate
• Monitor systems, resolve issues, and ensure infrastructure integrity
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems
• Perform routine maintenance (e.g. backups, patching, hotfixes)
• Recommend and implement solutions to optimize performance
• Work on multiple concurrent systems and project initiatives
