Now is an exciting time to join the team as Electrical Technician supporting the North East and Yorkshire region with all aspects of electrical equipment installs and maintenance within our teams.
Your Key Duties Will Include
- You will be repairing, maintaining and installing various electrical products to BS7671 Standards (18th Edition).
- Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instrumentation, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial and commercial purposes. These will either be fixed applications or temporary site solutions.
- You will be client faced and engaging with engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or services.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications are delivered including, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Maintaining electrical equipment either within Sunbelt Rentals or on a multitude of client’s sites.
- Working with a variety of varied technicians across the Sunbelt Engineering portfolio.
- Manage stock and inventory to carry out works to the highest standard.
This role may require travel to the North West and Nationally with overnight stays when required.

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
- Prior experience working within the power sector
- Previous experience as an Electrical Technician
- Electrical/ engineer qualification (Advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Able to work as part of a Team, supporting colleagues
- Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home
- Great communication skills – both verbal and written
- Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
- Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Full clean driving licence
