Responsibilities
- Operate light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods.
- Ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load.
- Visit customer locations and communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Adhere to legal and company safety requirements, alongside working time directive regulations, at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum driving licence category B with no more than 6 points.
- Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
- A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises.
- Numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Geographical knowledge and LCV experience (desirable).
- Ability to use IT systems (desirable).
